Third Party Blogs: What’s in it for My Company?

Wednesday, June 30th, 2010

The third party blogs are becoming more common, now that the benefits of a company blog are being realized as a true internet marketing mechanism. Just like when billboards were first introduced, then radio advertisements, followed by TV ads, each new communication medium has a new path for advertisers to get the word out about their clients. The company blog run by third party bloggers is the equivalent of this advancement for the internet.

Some do not realize it, but even Google has a company blog that posts informational articles on how to best use their systems and services. They are already the number one site on the internet and growing. The number of company blogs they have is over 10 at last count, each one with a different theme.

Why would Google have multiple company blogs?  Simple, no one knows better than Google that people search by keyword phrases and the sharper line you can draw with your target niche keyword structure, the more traffic you will have.

Your company can do the same thing, depending on how large of a company you have and the different types of merchandise you have to offer. Smaller businesses usually need only one blog to reach out onto the internet, and connect to their target audience.  If you have multiple categories or niches, you should think about multiple blogs and third party blogs are perfect for this.

Just like the professional advertising agencies that make TV ads, the third party bloggers are the advertising agencies of the internet. They know where the target audiences can be located and how to attract them.

It is true that hiring a third party blogging company is a business expense for a company. The return on investment does vary, but is measurable. The biggest factor is if a company is willing to have the patience that is required to build up a following. This is a process that takes between 3 to 6 months before the full effect of the benefits can be seen and measured.

There are faster ways to get a blog to the top, but the search engines consider these tactics blackhat techniques.  We at 3rdPartyBlog.com only use tried and true and acceptable white hat promotions for our clients.  The question is what your long term goal is. Would you rather have a fast rise to the top of the rankings with the reward of a week of sales then getting banned for life, or a slow rise to the top that will permanently establish your site at the top?

The third party blogs are the route to take for long-term growth and exposure on the internet for any company that is going to maintain a presence in cyberspace.  Please use the contact form for more information, or the Request a Quote tab on this site.

Company Blog: There is No Debate

Tuesday, June 22nd, 2010

The debate about a company blog is over because its utilization has already been proven as an effective marketing tool. The biggest decision most companies now have is how to make the best use of this new avenue of marketing their product.

Some are giving the job to a younger member of the company, since they are more familiar with the internet as a whole. This is true since most youth are active in the many social sites and are very experienced at knowing how to find things on the internet. But being part of a target audience and attracting a target audience are two very different concepts.

One advantage these younger members of society have is that they know what attracts them and some of the advertising gimmicks that have worked on them. What they need to do is to be able to apply this to the target audience that pertains to the company and the products they produce.

Unfortunately, many companies are just looking for an employee that knows how to utilize the internet and not one with marketing skills for the position. Without the combination of both, the full potential of the company’s blog will not realized.

Knowing how to write properly SEO’d articles and then submitting them as part of an article marketing campaign is a necessary skill that must not only be known but have to be executed properly. This is part of how professional bloggers get the message that they are trying to convey out to the public.

Content has always been king of the internet, but increased traffic is how the surfing public becomes aware of the content a company posts on its site. A properly constructed and utilized blog is the best way to use a company blog to increase the traffic from the target audience to the home site of said company, that will increase sales and revenue of the business as a whole.

Company Blog Reaches Out

Sunday, June 13th, 2010

The company blog is the most versatile tool a business’ advertising department can use to get the word out about the product and services their company has to offer. Unfortunately, it is being underutilized by a vast majority of businesses.

This is so because many do not realize its vast potential or they just simply do not know how to properly use it. A blog for any business is another tool, just like radio advertising and then TV advertising was in the past. The biggest difference is that company blogging has the capability of reaching millions of potential customers on a 24/7 time frame. This is not a 30 second slot that hopes to be  seen by the target audience.

A company or business blog is there ready and available any time of the day or night when the target audience is ready to read your message. Since this is a new form of advertising, most companies have little to no experience with it. Like with any other aspect of business, this is when a professional is hired to fill the need.

A company that can build a site and SEO it properly so it can reach the top of the SERPs is what is needed. Equally important and needed are professional copywriters that can write articles on any subject, and campaign marketers that know how to promote this type of article marketing campaigns.

Putting all of these professionals together is what a third-party blog is all about. They have a team of professionals that have repeatedly placed company blogs on the top of SERPs for the keywords their clients have requested.

Just like with your business, you are professionals in a particular field. It would not make sense to start building computers if your core business is painting homes. You do what you know best. Let others help you with what you do not know or have little experience with.

This is the fastest way to rise to the top ahead of your competition. The internet is here to stay and your company blog will be a vital tool in your exposure on it.

You need to click on the “Request a Quote” tab before your competition does.

Company Blogging Improves your Image

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

With company blogging, new information along with repeated items can be continuously placed on the blog site to attract the ever expanding market of the internet. This is done with short and concise articles.

At the present time, it is believed that the search engines scan the first 1500 characters of a web page. This allows Google and the other search engine providers to categorize the content to be accessible when a keyword is asked for by those using the search engines.

Improve Your Company Image

This is the reason why an article marketing campaign on a company blog is so successful. By having multiple articles on all of the important keywords, a site can generate more hits on the Search Engine Ranking Positions (SERPs). This allows for higher rankings and more traffic.

The purpose of obtaining the highest possible rankings of the SERPs for vital keywords is how the consumers use this tool. 70% or more of all hits on the results pages are taken up by the first three results. The results that place 4th through 10th receive the next 25% of hits, and the remainder gets the last 5%. The farther down the list your site is, obtaining traffic decreases.

Search engines list sites by quality original content, number of quality links a site and article has, and visits by web users. These are the top issues of the over 200 logarithms by the search engines when compiling search engine results pages.

New this year is that the speed at which a site loads is a contributing factor in its rankings. Most company blogs use a simple format with no need of flash and other add-ons that slow down the loading process. This is why so many company blogs are now receiving better rankings than the company’s own home site.

It has been proven that company blogging on a regular basis is how to increase traffic and sales to both the blog site and the company’s main site. This is the wave of the present and future for eCommerce.
