Company Blog: There is No Debate

The debate about a company blog is over because its utilization has already been proven as an effective marketing tool. The biggest decision most companies now have is how to make the best use of this new avenue of marketing their product.

Some are giving the job to a younger member of the company, since they are more familiar with the internet as a whole. This is true since most youth are active in the many social sites and are very experienced at knowing how to find things on the internet. But being part of a target audience and attracting a target audience are two very different concepts.

One advantage these younger members of society have is that they know what attracts them and some of the advertising gimmicks that have worked on them. What they need to do is to be able to apply this to the target audience that pertains to the company and the products they produce.

Unfortunately, many companies are just looking for an employee that knows how to utilize the internet and not one with marketing skills for the position. Without the combination of both, the full potential of the company’s blog will not realized.

Knowing how to write properly SEO’d articles and then submitting them as part of an article marketing campaign is a necessary skill that must not only be known but have to be executed properly. This is part of how professional bloggers get the message that they are trying to convey out to the public.

Content has always been king of the internet, but increased traffic is how the surfing public becomes aware of the content a company posts on its site. A properly constructed and utilized blog is the best way to use a company blog to increase the traffic from the target audience to the home site of said company, that will increase sales and revenue of the business as a whole.
