Company Marketing Strategy: Do You Agree?

Wednesday, July 7th, 2010

The right company marketing strategy will help your establishment rise above the competition.  With TV and radio, a catch phrase or jingle that people hear sets in their brain and reminds them of certain products.

With the new medium of communication, the internet’s marketing strategies follow the same principles, they just accomplish them by other means. Many companies have used pop up ads in the past as an attempt to attract new customers. This method of promotions has had nothing but a negative effect on the target audience. Most people that encounter one just find a way to close it and not even give notice to what is being advertised.

There are other means of advertising, like the ones in the cyber papers where an ad pops up before an article can be read. These have the option to be skipped, and nearly all the time, this is what occurs.

What has been the most effective marketing tool is the company blog. This is a website where a company can not only promote their products and services but also inform their target audience on subjects that concern them. Giving out free and useful information that the public can use as a resource encourages them to visit the site repeatedly for more helpful hints. The more useful the site, the more visitors will talk about it. This is free advertising by credible sources.

A blog sponsored by a company will also be involved in an article marketing campaign that is designed to locate the target audience and give them a reason to visit the site. This is with informative, and sometimes, promotional articles.

With each sector of business and the companies within these sectors, the campaigns and ways to attract them vary. What they all do have in common is the funneling of traffic to the sponsor’s home site where purchases and greater exposure will occur.

A company marketing strategy for the internet must have a good return on investment, and that is what a company blog can provide. This is a new strategy for the new medium of communication that is now widely used by the consumers of the world.

Manage My Blog, the Question

Thursday, June 10th, 2010

Can someone manage my blog for me? This question has been on the rise since many companies have discovered the need for a company blog but are not sure how to utilize it to its fullest potential. This is when a professional blogger can be most beneficial to a business.

Too busy to Blog

Too Busy to Blog

The professional blogger knows there is more to a company blog than just writing a few posts. The blog is the latest and best tool the internet marketer has at their disposal. This tool can be used to reach out to the target audience and guide them to the home site of the company that desires better traffic.

The driving of traffic can take many forms. The key to this is knowing the target audience and how to properly attract them. This will involve some type of marketing campaign. One of the most common is an article campaign.

The article marketing campaign is when a series of articles involving specific high traffic keywords are written and placed on a variety of places on the internet. This can be on social sites, forums, on other blogs or through an email campaign. It is all dependent on the target audience.

This is why professionals are needed for companies to run their blogs. Most companies do not have the time to determine the target audience and what will attract this audience to their site. They also are very busy running their business. Writing and posting the articles alone take a professional’s full time.

The proper running of a company blog is just as important as a restaurant having a clean and orderly appearance to it when customers come in the front door. First impression is everything and the company blog is, for many, the first exposure to a company that many encounter.

If you are one of the business persons asking the question; “How can I manage my blog?”, all you need to do is turn to the professional bloggers at 3rdPartyBlog.com so you can focus on running your business.

Company Blogging Improves your Image

Wednesday, June 9th, 2010

With company blogging, new information along with repeated items can be continuously placed on the blog site to attract the ever expanding market of the internet. This is done with short and concise articles.

At the present time, it is believed that the search engines scan the first 1500 characters of a web page. This allows Google and the other search engine providers to categorize the content to be accessible when a keyword is asked for by those using the search engines.

Improve Your Company Image

This is the reason why an article marketing campaign on a company blog is so successful. By having multiple articles on all of the important keywords, a site can generate more hits on the Search Engine Ranking Positions (SERPs). This allows for higher rankings and more traffic.

The purpose of obtaining the highest possible rankings of the SERPs for vital keywords is how the consumers use this tool. 70% or more of all hits on the results pages are taken up by the first three results. The results that place 4th through 10th receive the next 25% of hits, and the remainder gets the last 5%. The farther down the list your site is, obtaining traffic decreases.

Search engines list sites by quality original content, number of quality links a site and article has, and visits by web users. These are the top issues of the over 200 logarithms by the search engines when compiling search engine results pages.

New this year is that the speed at which a site loads is a contributing factor in its rankings. Most company blogs use a simple format with no need of flash and other add-ons that slow down the loading process. This is why so many company blogs are now receiving better rankings than the company’s own home site.

It has been proven that company blogging on a regular basis is how to increase traffic and sales to both the blog site and the company’s main site. This is the wave of the present and future for eCommerce.

Gain Authority with a Company Blog

Monday, June 7th, 2010

With a company blog, the opportunity to promote what a company sells by targeting specific keywords is not only possible, but the number of times it does so is limitless.

Most company and corporate websites have a home or landing page that is their main introduction and gateway to the internet. On this page, they have links to various sections that promote different aspects of their company and products they sell.  Most of the thought behind this page is simple promotion and access that is in a format that seldom changes.

What a blog does for a company is give them the opportunity to do constant promotions that are continually changing. With this continuously changing presentation, exposure on the web is ever expanding.

Now, combining the new promotions with an article marketing campaign to increase the exposure to an ever greater level, the number of visitors from your specific target audience will be ever increasing. That is the key to increased exposure, sales, and profits from the internet – the attraction of a target audience and giving them what they want.

This is why the use of specific keywords in a marketing campaign on the blog site of a company is so important, along with being highly successful. It attracts the attention of the search engines and categorizes the site on every keyword that is used on the site. The more keywords that are used, the more listings the site is on.

This has a domino effect. Each new keyword and the link associated with it will contribute to the blog’s overall ranking. This effect combines them all together to boost the rankings of every campaign on the site. This is how a new page that is just posted can appear on the first page of the SERPs, just hours after it was posted on the site – the linking domino effect.

This is why so many businesses are opting for a company blog to promote themselves. The domino effect is free and never runs out of steam, it just keeps going.  Google now ranks blogs with an authority value.  Let us build yours today.

The Company Blog

Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010

The company blog has become an essential part of the business world. This was inevitable since access to the internet has reached all corners of the globe. As the internet grows, so does eCommerce.

At the turn of the 21st century, over 80% of shoppers preferred a brick and mortar store. But this is when the shift to online shopping was beginning to change. It was the first year the preference for online shopping reached double digits with 11%.

In 2010, the projected sales amount is $173 billion for online sales. This has grown by leaps and bounds since the beginning of the century with no end in sight.

Many people are finding out how easy it is to turn to the internet and the search engines rather than the old and reliable, but slow, yellow pages to find the goods and services they need. This is when the importance of the blog by a company becomes so important. No matter what time of day or even what day it is, you are open for business and the selling your products and services can occur.

But just being on the internet is not enough anymore; traffic must be generated to direct your target audience to your site. This is where article marketing comes into play. This can be done with a carefully planned and executed online marketing campaign.

The next step is to have a blog that is informative and easy to use. Most visitors are looking for specific information or items to purchase. A well-constructed site will make this easy for them to find and execute the transaction. The more complicated it is, the less likely the visitor will follow through with any purchase.

For a company blog to be a benefit to your business, it must be easy to use and to understand for the promotion of your product and services. You must also drive your target audience to it as part of your marketing campaign.

3rd Party Blog Founder Interview

Thursday, September 17th, 2009

The founder of 3rd Party Blog, Rich Hill, was interviewed recently about Internet marketing in general and 3rd Party Blogging specifically by a fellow IM person, Beat Schindler.

Rich and Beat (it’s Swiss,) became acquainted through the membership Blogging forum group operated by Jack Humphrey known as BlogSuccess.  Rich was asked to describe his personal information and history of Internet experience that goes back almost to the earliest days of the general public use of the Internet, before the days of the World Wide Web.

A copy of the audio file will be made available here on 3rd Party Blog at a later time but you may hear the complete audio file now on Beat’s website at www.BeatSchindler.com.

Rich emphasized the point that he wishes more entrepreneurs would join in as competitors for this type of business in order to create more of a buzz about this service industry.

There are still millions of business owners that do not know exactly what it means to have a 3rd Party Blog.

There are many ghost writers that will write articles for you to post on your company Blog.  What we do here is to do the whole Blog project complete from the ground up.  We select the name, purchase the domain, purchase hosting and install the WordPress Blog platform and necessary plugins.

We interview the client and learn about the products or service that they sell, and collect information on their perceived marketplace and known competitors.  We find out what the client’s ambitions are for their new Blog and what it is that they want to achieve.

Our Blogging team then performs market research, keyword research and we write the articles, do the publishing, and handle the correspondence and all of the day to day operations of the new company Blog.

The client does not have to do a thing other than feed us new ideas if there is some new program that they want to promote.

We are not going to give the farm away here, because we want to stay ahead of our competitors, but it does not stop there.  Everything that you can think of to promote your own Blog, is what we have our team do for this 3rd Party Blog as well.  And then some!
