Increasing Website Traffic Rankings

Thursday, December 31st, 2009

Your website traffic rankings will grow higher if you do certain critical tasks. A website does no good unless you have hits, and after the initial flurry of activity with a brand new well designed website, the site will go static unless people come to it every day.

Once you have visitors, your site will be ranked. Keep in mind there are millions of websites and millions more coming online every day. If your ranking is near the bottom, only those already familiar with your business will go to it.

Since 80 percent of web traffic begins with the search engines, the engines like Yahoo, Google and Bing need to be familiar with your site. The way to introduce your site to the search engines is with fresh content.

You will first want to have a website that is unique and serves a niche of buyers. If you’re selling a product, be sure the product is something people want. If you peddle information, make certain the information is updated daily.

The keywords in your information are what the search engines will grab and the keywords, or product information should be near the top of your new information.

Your information can be offered to online directories which assemble content by type and bring it to the search engines. All your web pages can be offered up and there are sites like jayde.com that submit your URL for a fee.

The free sites usually have outdated lists making your web pages lost in old content. There are 3rd party businesses that will upload your content to the most current lists.

Make sure your web site is user friendly. This is a source of many customer complaints, a website that doesn’t work well. With all these tips, you’ll have favorable website traffic rankings in no time.

When your company uses our services at 3rd Party Blog we not only publish excellent content on your blog, we have several programs to make sure that your site is indexed well and receives a lot of traffic.

Information from a Web Traffic Analyzer

Friday, October 9th, 2009

The value of a web traffic analyzer is that you can see how many customers are coming to your website and how they are using it.

If you have a large company or a home based one, this can help you succeed.  A storefront location provides all the research you need about customer activity.  If no one steps in the door all afternoon you know you must find a way to be more inviting.

If a customer comes in, walks around for three minutes and leaves, it tells you something.  If they linger for 15 minutes but don’t purchase anything, that is more information you can use to make changes.

With a website without a web traffic analyzer, it’s impossible to know if anyone visits, and if they do you can’t know how many pages they’re viewing and how long they’re sticking with your site before logging off and going elsewhere.

A web traffic analyzer will show you all of that.  You’ll see how many visitors enter your site each day, each week, each month.  See how many pages they view and for how long they view them.

You’ll have the benefit of knowing how far your website reaches.   From different states to different countries, wouldn’t it be nice to know who is finding you?  A web analysis will also show you the keywords they type into the search engines to find you.

Once you have this information you can use it to your advantage by making changes.  The necessary adjustment might be small or it could involve wholesale change.  It may be as simple as adding content with the keywords most in demand.

Whatever you do with the information, a web traffic analyzer gives you a fascinating behind the scenes story about your customers that can grow your business.

We at 3rd Party Blog use various analyzers for monitoring traffic to the Blog website.  We use this information to constantly target specific content that works for obtaining new buying customers.  Fill out a Contact form, or a Request for quote, and we will be happy to discuss just how a 3rd Party Blog will find new traffic for you.

Business Blog Software: Boosting Your Profile

Wednesday, September 30th, 2009

It’s not enough to simply have a company website anymore; most places need business blog software.  This is a vital computer program called blogging software that optimizes search engine results for maximum exposure.

In order to get the most out of your website and blog, you’ll need target keywords for the niche of your business and you don’t want these keywords to have much competition, thus pushing you down into the depths of search engine results.  The special software that we use can create a virtual Blog for all the necessary keywords of your business.

Since corporate Blogs can often have many contributing writers, the right software can allow for multiple authors.   A good software program for blogging will also measure traffic and eventually produce a powerful Blog ROI.  A 3rd Party Blog is a B2B service that takes on the complete Blog project for your company.  You do what you do best, run your company, and leave the blogging to us.

The ability to begin a blog is popular and available for just about anybody, but businesses have more demands.  Not many employees can know all the ins and outs of blogging for search engine visibility and lead generation.  The software can do this for you.  It can also weed out the keywords that will not produce results.  In other words don’t be tempted to blog about services outside your business plan.  It’s best to find a software company with many years of generating leads for businesses and blogs.

To get the most exposure for your website consider business Blog software by WordPress to increase visibility and increase the bottom line.  To save yourself the time and trouble fill out a Request for Quote form here and we will be happy to serve your needs.  We bring you buying customers.

Do You Use Website Traffic Analysis?

Monday, September 28th, 2009

Performing website traffic analysis is enough to send an already harried executive over the edge.  This specific task is vital to a business yet few people in the company are trained to do it.

Knowing the number of visitors who land on your website helps you make adjustment to your marketing plan to maximize growth potential.  Here is what to consider about such analysis:

You’ll want to know the number of unique visitors because this will show you if the traffic on your site is growing or decreasing.  If it’s shrinking your current marketing strategy is not having the impact you want.

The click-through rate is another term used by traffic analyzers.  Do your visitors never come off the home page? Or do they investigate other areas of the site to see all your business can offer?  If you know this number you can make adjustments to your home page to make it appear more inviting.

Remember, a home page is like your front door.  If the design is attractive, the door knob works and the wood doesn’t stick you’ll have many visitors happy to come inside, otherwise your “guests” will keep walking until they find an appealing door elsewhere.  These guests are your customers and your neighbors are your competition.

It’s important to know the average length of time each visitor spends on a single page as well as the number of pages views.  Do most people click on two pages before exiting, or do they investigate four or five.  A small difference like this can mean big results to your bottom line.

What do you think are the pages visited most often?  And the least?  These answers can help you grow your business.  We at 3rd Party Blog perform website traffic analysis for our clients on a regular basis and we help you to meet your marketing goals through more than just article writing.

Why you Must Blog for Business

Sunday, September 27th, 2009

If you think blogging is just for techno geeks or 20-somethings think again, because you must Blog for Business.   Employers who utilize this 21st century marketing tool have an advantage over all others.  Blogging will bring you buying customers, this is an unarguable fact, as in I mean “PERIOD”!

There are two types of Blogs; one that serves as an online diary for individuals who wish to pen their daily thoughts without concern about who reads their secrets, and then there are “Business Blogs” which focus on driving new Internet traffic to the company web site.  Business Blogs are like newspaper articles just about “your” company.

How many times have you seen a local business featured on the evening TV news and wished that you could have had the same level of exposure?  Well now you can because more customers are learning about products over the Internet than in television and newspaper articles.

The big problem is the Internet is crowded with your competitors who are all vying for a position at the top of the food chain, which in this case is the search engine.  If you have a company website that looks tremendous and hasn’t been changed since it was designed, chances are no one is looking at it.  The way to change that and to maximize traffic to your site is to Blog.

Blogs contain new and pertinent information about your company, your industry, your community, your new products; everything that attracts the attention of the search engines and new business.  Blogging software has the feature built in that says to the search engines, “Hey look at me, I’ve got new content!”

Unfortunately blogging takes time and in this retracting economy companies are downsizing employees.  Not many offices have the resources to dedicate one person to blogging.

Blogging for search engine placement involves specific techniques and keywords, which is why it helps to have a writer who knows how to do this.   Once this is achieved your blog for business will greatly help the bottom line.

Fill out the contact form and we at 3rd Party Blog will show just how we will bring you buying customers.  You need to do this NOW before your competition hires us.

The Benefits of Business Blog Consulting

Friday, September 25th, 2009

Nearly every company with a web site can be helped by Business  Blog Consulting.  Our 3rd party bloggers do everything from simply writing new articles for your existing Blog tab, to establishing a unique blogging section with daily content and management.

You might not think it’s necessary to hire a consultant to do this, however there are several million websites and all of them want to be at the top of the search engines.  Research shows few customers go directly to a company website.  They almost always perform an Internet search for the type of business first.

A Blog consultant can help you analyze your goals and develop a plan to use blogging to your best advantage.  This may include hiring a content writer with special skills designed to maximize search engine exposure on a Blog tab already installed but underutilized, or the creation of a new blogging program from scratch.

No matter what level of involvement you choose, you’ll find that blogging takes a company website from static to dynamic, which is what every viable business needs.

Blogging consultants know the keyword phrases that get the attention of search engines quickly.  Since customers begin their quest for services on a search engine, your landscaping business Blog on “Planting Trees Properly” will face a crowded field of other landscapers writing about the same thing.  But if you write about “Planting Trees Properly” and you insert your location of Atlanta in the post, search engines will whittle down all other entries that don’t include both words.

It’s not as simple as just using all the right keywords; their placement is something of a science.  So if you have yet to consider a Blog for your website, consider what Business Blog Consulting can do to help you get started.

Use the contact form at the top and we at 3rd Party Blog will have a Blog consultant do a free website analysis of your existing website and make some recommendations on how you can get more traffic.  No obligations and no cost for the analysis.

3rd Party Blog Founder Interview

Thursday, September 17th, 2009

The founder of 3rd Party Blog, Rich Hill, was interviewed recently about Internet marketing in general and 3rd Party Blogging specifically by a fellow IM person, Beat Schindler.

Rich and Beat (it’s Swiss,) became acquainted through the membership Blogging forum group operated by Jack Humphrey known as BlogSuccess.  Rich was asked to describe his personal information and history of Internet experience that goes back almost to the earliest days of the general public use of the Internet, before the days of the World Wide Web.

A copy of the audio file will be made available here on 3rd Party Blog at a later time but you may hear the complete audio file now on Beat’s website at www.BeatSchindler.com.

Rich emphasized the point that he wishes more entrepreneurs would join in as competitors for this type of business in order to create more of a buzz about this service industry.

There are still millions of business owners that do not know exactly what it means to have a 3rd Party Blog.

There are many ghost writers that will write articles for you to post on your company Blog.  What we do here is to do the whole Blog project complete from the ground up.  We select the name, purchase the domain, purchase hosting and install the WordPress Blog platform and necessary plugins.

We interview the client and learn about the products or service that they sell, and collect information on their perceived marketplace and known competitors.  We find out what the client’s ambitions are for their new Blog and what it is that they want to achieve.

Our Blogging team then performs market research, keyword research and we write the articles, do the publishing, and handle the correspondence and all of the day to day operations of the new company Blog.

The client does not have to do a thing other than feed us new ideas if there is some new program that they want to promote.

We are not going to give the farm away here, because we want to stay ahead of our competitors, but it does not stop there.  Everything that you can think of to promote your own Blog, is what we have our team do for this 3rd Party Blog as well.  And then some!

We Blog For You Activity for June 2009 at 3rd Party Blog

Monday, June 29th, 2009

Wow, we sure have been busy here at 3rdPartyBlog.com.  The “We Blog for You” idea is becoming attractive to a lot of businesses out there.

First of all our site was picked up by KillerStartups.com for a review by them which we were totally unaware of until after they had published the review and sent us a notice.  KillerStartups only reviews about 15 sites a day out of the million or so that come online all the time, so we are very honored for the nice article.

KillerStartups looks for new ideas and anything of interest on the web that has a little different twist and evidently our website caught their eye.  Well this brought a rush of traffic and a flurry of contacts and questions and even some clients so we were thrilled with the response.

Please notice the banner on the right on our site that says “Please Vote For Us”.  When you click on that banner it will take you to the KillerStartups review and there is a place at the top left where you can vote our site up.  Every single vote is very much appreciated as with more votes we stand a good chance of making it to killers most popular category and then even more people will see our website.  Thanks so much for each and every vote, oh and tweets too!

The next thing that happened just this last Sunday June 28th is that we started to receive a ton of traffic from maxblogpress.com and on going there remembered the article that we had submitted about a month ago was just published and there was a flurry of very favorable comments and again a couple of clients came from it with a couple of more that are interested and asking for more details.

You may read the post at maxblogpress.

You might wonder if this is too much publicity for a relatively new company, however we are of the opinion that all publicity is good and we have been working with our team keeping them energized for more activity and we are confident that we will be able to scale to any amount of business blogging opportunities that select our company to do their blogging for them.

Remember out mantra, “We Blog for You”!

Ways that a 3rd Party Blog Can Help Your Business

Saturday, March 28th, 2009

There are two primary ways that a 3rd Party Blog can help your business.

1) – You have a website and an established web presence with a static website. We can become an extension of your website with a /blog. This will link to the WordPress dynamic Blog site that we build and optimize for Search Engine Optimization (SEO).

2) – You have a static website that you want to drive traffic to and you may or may not want your name on the new Blog. In this case we build the Blog around your product or service and target all of the Blog post articles to promote these products and services and use a mixture of text links or banner ads that link out to your main website.

Either of these methods will garner new traffic from people that have never heard of you or your company before. The reason that we know this and can back up this statement is that we have been doing this 3rd Party Blogging for other clients and their traffic has increased impressively.

We have keyword research tools that we use to look at various types of keywords that fit within your realm of business. We know the approximate number of Searches per Month (SPM) and we can see the approximate Strength of Competition (SOC).

The ideal situation is to locate keywords that have large SPM numbers and also have low SOC. That affords us the opportunity to craft articles that describe your goods or services and we place appropriate keywords in the title and in the best place in the article body to be scanned by the search engine robots.

What this does is to give your Blog the advantage on certain keywords over the competition. The dynamic ability of a Blog over a static website will attract the search engine bots more frequently.

We also use tools within the Blog program that we tailor to take full advantage of the search engines and we notify them of all new updates so that your whole blog site will be scanned a tremendous amount of times over a static site.

With each new article that we post a notice is sent out to many of the most important search engines that says what amounts to “Hey come take a look, we have new content.” We are not able to guarantee that they will come right away but from past experience they do and until the search engines change their site scanning routines this method of a 3rd Party Blog is the very best way to take advantage of your keywords.

How Would a 3rd Party Blog Know What to Write About Regarding My Company or Product?

Tuesday, February 10th, 2009

This is a fair question and one that we need to make a little clearer for you.

We at 3rd Party Blog dot com have in-house writers and contract copywriters that we have worked with extensively for a very long time.

We have all been Bloggers for several years and are very familiar with writing good content for all types of Blogs.  Here is what you need on your Blog; good, fresh, new content that is very relative to your Blog subject and theme.

The search engines will punish you if you use duplicate content over and over on the same Blog.  This means that if you use a rehash of a previously successful Blog post with the thoughts of repeating your success, you will get a search engine penalty.

Our writers are capable of researching all subjects that are relative to ANY TYPE of Blog.  We then will write a good clear and relevant Blog post that first of all will be search engine friendly and keyword rich, and secondly will be written in such a manner that will be comfortable to the human reader.

There are countless thousands of reference sites that we may use in our research.  None of the Blog posts will be scrapes of any other site.  We do not cut and paste large quantities of materials just to create a post as others do.  The only time that we might use a quote from another site is if it is germane to the actual article at hand, and we always cite the source in such cases.

Your site will never receive a duplicate content penalty when you use the services of 3rdPartyBlog.com.

We will create a “Call to Action” with these articles that will entice the reader into clicking out to your order entry area, or your company website, or to what ever site you select for us to promote for you.

Most importantly we write for the bots, the robots, and the spiders that index the Internet.  “We Blog for You.”

We WILL bring you Paying Customers.
